Aura is built and run by one person. The answers below cover most questions. If yours isn't here, email support@auravolleyball.com and I'll write back. Every message gets read, though tournament weekends can slow replies down.
A faster answer: include the app and version (shown at the bottom of the Tools tab), your device, and the club, team or event involved. Missing-data and bug reports go to the top of the pile.

My team isn't showing up in search.
Try the club name alone first, like Boss instead of Boss 14-1, then pick the team from the list. Search covers every team Advanced Event Systems has ranked this season or last, plus 10U and 11U teams rated by VolleyLens.
A brand-new team, or one that was renamed for this season, appears after its first ranked event. Until then you can add its tournaments by hand. Send me the club and team name and I'll tell you exactly what the data shows.
My tournament isn't listed.
AuraVolleyball reads tournaments published through Advanced Event Systems, the Ohio Valley Region calendar, and national event directories. A team's own AES schedule shows up once the team is entered; regional events show in the "Find events in your region" list before that.
Events run on other systems won't appear on their own yet. You can import your club's calendar, or add an event by hand with a link to its tournament page. Tell me which system your club uses; that list decides what gets built next.
Why don't I see a court number?
For AES tournaments, the court, game times and work assignment appear once the tournament posts its pools, usually a few days before the event. Until then the event shows no court. Tap the event on the Home screen, or open it from the Events tab, to see them.
For imported or hand-added events, open the event and add the court yourself, or use your club's calendar if it lists courts. When no court has been posted, Aura shows nothing rather than guessing.
The rankings don't match what my club told me.
Aura shows two independent sources: Advanced Event Systems rankings and VolleyLens Elo-based rankings. They use different methods and often disagree, and each is labeled. Rankings update on their publishers' schedules, not live; the app shows when it last refreshed.
Early in a season the new tables are nearly empty, so Aura shows last season's final rankings and labels them with that season.
How do imported calendars stay up to date?
Importing copies the events into the app. To pick up changes, open any imported event and tap Check calendar for updates, and Aura updates the times and places while keeping the court and notes you typed. In the current version, importing the same calendar a second time adds a second copy of each event, so use Check calendar for updates instead. The next update fixes this and cleans up any doubles automatically.
How do I share the schedule with family?
On the Events tab, tap the people button next to Import. Aura creates a calendar named "Aura" plus the team name in your iPhone's Calendar app and keeps it updated. Open it in Calendar and share it: family with iPhones get an iCloud invite, and anyone on Android or Google Calendar can subscribe from a public link. Your iPhone calendar needs to be in iCloud for sharing to work.
A public link can be opened by anyone who has it, and it shows game locations, times and any notes you added. Share it only with people you trust, and prefer the iCloud invite when you can.
To send just one tournament, open the event and tap the share button. You can text or email it with the times, address, court and a calendar invite.
How do I share a live score?
Live score sharing is in AuraVolleyball 1.0.11, arriving the week of October 26. Update the app from the App Store once it's out. In the scorekeeper, tap More, then Share live score, then Start Sharing Live. You'll get a 6-character code and a link to send. Anyone with the code can follow every point in AuraVolleyball (Tools, then Watch a Live Score) or in any web browser at auravolleyball.com/live, with no app needed.
Only team names and scores are shared. Tap Stop Sharing when the match is over; the live score is deleted a day after the last point either way.
Do you have my child's personal information?
No. The app shows team rankings, schedules and rosters that Advanced Event Systems and VolleyLens already publish publicly. It doesn't access private club systems and doesn't collect anything about any athlete. See the privacy policy, and email me if you have a concern about published data.
I'm a club director. Can you feature our club?
Yes, and it's free. Email support@auravolleyball.com or send a direct message on Instagram to @auravolleyballapp with your club name and region. If any of your teams' data looks wrong, I'd like to hear that too.

Is there a subscription?
No. Each app is a one-time purchase: AuraVolleyball $4.99, Aura Volleyball Scorekeeper $1.99, Volleyball Referee Signals $3.99. There's no recurring charge.
Is there an Android version?
Not right now. The apps run on iPhone and iPad.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases go through the App Store, so Apple handles refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com. I can't issue them directly.
Are you connected to USA Volleyball or AES?
No. Aura Volleyball is independent and isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by USA Volleyball, Advanced Event Systems / SportsEngine, the Ohio Valley Region, VolleyLens, FIVB, or any club or tournament operator.
