Support
Start with the questions below — they cover the great majority of what people write in about. Aura is built and run by one person, so this page is the fastest route to an answer.
Still stuck? Write to support@auravolleyball.com. Messages are read, but replies aren't guaranteed and may take a while — bug reports and missing-data reports are the ones most likely to turn into an actual fix. Including the app and version (the Tools tab shows it), your device and iOS version, and the team or event involved makes that far more likely.
Common questions
My team isn't showing up.
Search matches on team name and club code, so try the club name alone first ("Boss" rather than "Boss 14-1"). If the team still doesn't appear, it may not be in the Advanced Event Systems rankings feed for the current season — teams appear there once they've been entered and ranked. Email me the club and team name and I'll tell you exactly what the data shows.
My tournament isn't listed.
AuraVolleyball covers events published through Advanced Event Systems and the OVR regional calendar. Events run through other systems won't appear yet. If your club uses something else, tell me which one — that list directly drives what gets built next.
Why don't I see court assignments for my match?
Court numbers come from the detailed event schedule, which isn't always published in the directory feed. When only directory-level data exists, the app deliberately shows nothing rather than guessing. Importing your club's iCal schedule usually fills in game-level detail including courts.
The rankings here don't match what my club told me.
Aura shows two independent sources — AES rankings (USA Volleyball) and VolleyLens Elo. They use different methods and will often disagree, and each is labeled so you know which you're looking at. Rankings also update on their publishers' schedules, not in real time; the app shows how recently it refreshed.
Is there a subscription?
No. All three apps are one-time purchases — AuraVolleyball $4.99, Scorekeeper $1.99, Referee Signals $3.99. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
Is there an Android version?
Not currently. iPhone and iPad only.
Do you have my child's personal information?
No. The app displays team rankings and schedules already published publicly by Advanced Event Systems and VolleyLens. It doesn't access private club systems and doesn't collect anything about any athlete. See the privacy policy, and email me directly if you have a concern about published data.
I'm a club director — can you feature our club?
Yes, and it's free. The fastest way to reach us is a direct message on Instagram — @auravolleyballapp — with your club name and region.
Refunds
Purchases go through the App Store, so refunds are handled entirely by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Aura can't issue refunds directly.
Independence
Aura Volleyball is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by USA Volleyball, Advanced Event Systems / SportsEngine, the Ohio Valley Region, VolleyLens, FIVB, or any club or tournament operator.
